Weekly Medium Sudoku Challenge: Solve Week 10/01/2026 Puzzle! (2026)

Welcome to the Weekly Medium Sudoku Challenge for the week of October 1, 2026, brought to you by The North Central Review. If you've ever found yourself captivated by the intricate logic of Sudoku, you're in for a treat!

Understanding Sudoku

At its core, the aim of Sudoku is straightforward: you need to fill every row, column, and smaller grid (often referred to as boxes or sub-grids) with the digits 1 through 9. The unique twist, however, is that each number can only appear once in any row, column, or sub-grid. If you happen to repeat a number in any of these areas, it creates a conflict, and that’s where the challenge lies!

Play Together – A Collaborative Experience

One of the exciting features of our Sudoku platform is the option to play alongside a friend! Simply navigate to the 'Play together' section on the toolbar to invite someone to join you in solving the same puzzle. Once you’re connected, you’ll notice your friend’s icon changes to green, indicating they’re with you in the game. However, if either of you loses internet connectivity, the icon will shift to red, and if one of you becomes inactive, it will turn gray. This allows you both to collaborate in real-time, entering numbers simultaneously. Plus, there’s a handy chat feature located in the bottom right corner for discussing strategies and solutions—though keep in mind that this chat function isn't available if you're using a mobile device.

Craving More Puzzles?

If this Sudoku puzzle has sparked your interest and left you wanting more brain teasers, you're in luck! You can explore an array of additional puzzles over at our Puzzle Corner. It's the perfect place to challenge your mind further and enjoy countless hours of engaging gameplay.
