Celebrating the Life of Rebecca I. Frambach: A Legacy of Love and Service (2026)

A life well-lived, a heart deeply loved. This obituary honors Rebecca I. Frambach, who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 56. She found peace at Santa Rosa Providence Memorial Hospital, surrounded by dear friends who were like family.

Rebecca, a resident of Willow Creek in Humboldt County, is survived by her mother, Avis (“Bea”) Frambach, and sister, Laura Frambach, both of Sheffield, MA. She also leaves behind her Uncle Richard and Aunt Mary Frambach of New Hampshire, and Aunt Martha Abbondandelo. But here's where it gets really heartwarming: she was cherished by hundreds of friends, her spiritual family from congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Her journey of faith began in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, where she spent 19 happy years. She then moved to Valley City, North Dakota, to support a small congregation for 20 years. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, she volunteered with the Jehovah’s Witnesses Disaster Relief Committee in New Orleans for a year, aiding those affected. Finally, she settled in Willow Creek for over 17 wonderful years, dedicating herself to volunteer work. This included sharing the hope of a brighter future through God’s Kingdom, a message she passionately believed in.

Predeceased by her father, Ronald Frambach, Becky dedicated her life to following Jesus Christ's example, sharing the good news of the Kingdom for 3.5 years. (See Matthew 24:14). She devoted over 40 years, starting at age 16, as a regular pioneer in the volunteer ministry.

To support herself, she worked various part-time jobs, but her reflexology business brought her the most joy. She helped many find relief and comfort with her hands-on treatments.

Becky's early years were filled with family time, especially enjoying God’s creation. The Frambach family loved tent camping in the 1970s, then upgraded to pop-up trailers in the 1980s, exploring New England, especially the White Mountains. These adventures helped her and her sister connect with their Creator.

Two hobbies brought her immense joy. She loved photography, carefully documenting and sharing her pictures. She also cherished staying connected with friends. For decades, she sent unique cards, including heartfelt poems, to celebrate anniversaries and milestones.

She carried out this tradition with zeal, joy, and deep satisfaction — much to the delight of those who received her treasured cards!

What sustained her most? The beautiful promise of a future on earth, a promise from God, recorded in the Bible (Revelation 21:3, 4). Christ himself promised a resurrection of life (John 5:28, 29).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 65 Blue Jay Lane, Willow Creek.
